In the light

In the light!

Waiting

come morning light…it turned

come the morning…it turned

the dawn of my despair…into a prayer

still I notice you…in my smallest deepest heart

Still I notice you
when change begins, I brace for stronger winds…
in my smallest deepest heart

Still I notice you
when branches crack, at the pruning of your hand…
in my smallest deepest heart

Still I notice you
in the burning dross, chaff blows with your wind…
in my smallest deepest heart

Still I notice you,
I rest my case, surrender to this mystery, in your lap of grace…
in my smallest deepest heart

Indian paintbrushes almost harvest time

almostharvesttime

The wheat/hay is almost waist high, so the Indian paintbrushes are hidden see above?

Indianpaintbrushes

I noticed this morning that the field had a darker tint to it. It was the Indian paintbrushes they turn almost a purple color on the stems. Pretty soon we’ll bale this field and all my wildflowers will be horse feed for the winter. I love that but I do miss them so I enjoy them while I can! ッ
