Tiny little parasol
Waiting for
the rain to fall
You shelter little
wildflowers
as they grow
they push past you
and thank you so
with a smile
for your kindness
as they grow

Let me ride the wind on this carousel of wildflowers Let me float on the sunshine and hang out with the breeze Let me sleep within this meadow and put my mind a ease Let my soul find rest in you today MichelleMarie
It’s hard to tame a wildflower
Or train them how to grow
You can dig them up
But next year
They’ll come back
Now, don’t you know
In the fields
I watch them gather
And they seem
To me to say
Come play here
In this field now
Wash your blues away
Wildflowers like me
