So humbling this news I found out yesterday about Joey. I don’t know her personally but I was touched by her story. One day I had the TV on, I was in another room and I heard Bill Gaither interviewing Joey and Rory and what brought me back to the TV was her singing, “If I Needed You.”

Here’s the video that I heard and witnessed that day:

I immediately heard her singing about the love a momma has for her baby. Rory said they changed the song from he to “she” because of the birth of their daughter Indy.

I also have their new album which was released 3 weeks ago on Spotify. This song “Take My Hand Precious Lord,” was playing in my heart this morning when I woke up, I felt to share this with you.
