When I can’t find you?
When you don’t respond?
Where do you go?
I’ve asked you several times
just to see what you’ll say
Why do you stop talking?
Why do you stop answering?
Why do you shut me out?
Silence only brings distance
and eventually I’ll go away
does that even matter?
Why, because I want to know?
I’ve never understood that about you.
