Flower Pot gardening

I love to garden in flower pots. They are much safer from my mowing skills in pots on the porch. ❤

    1. I love that food coma. Your family is blessed and full. Lol my mom was a caterer so growing up we all worked in her business catering and cooking for huge parties. I can cook for 100 but 2 is tough we have leftovers for weeks. Lol
I love to arrange too! I love to but fresh cut flowers just to keep in my. Kitten and at my desk. They brighten everything up! Eckhart Tolle says to stop and focus on something real. I feel flowers help me focus and get out of my mind. That can be a scary place. Lol💕

      1. That is a good thing for you when you mother is an expert on such. I love cooking and baking, but not that professional. But I am quite surprised that few mommies are really professional in their cooking & baking talent. Makes me jealous all the time! LOL

I got a girlfriend who is like this. All her cooking & baking are looking so professional and she loves to do it perfectly. She can open a bakery for herself but it was never it her interest, anyway. “It is enough that I raise a big family. I am with that. Plus, that I would bake all for my friends muffins, cupcakes and cookies too.” She said that all the time.

      2. Oh wow raising a big family is not easy I’m sure. I love that she finds time to do that. I don’t really cook much it’s funny I used to when my daughter was little but now I don’t eat much so what we I cook lasts awhile. I think you do a wonderful job. Your table looks so full and lots of yummy food. Everyone leaves satisfied. Lol
I love cupcakes and muffins. 🎂🍰

      3. I agree with you there.
I remembered well when we were older, my mother rarely cooks as well. It is always either me or my brother did the cooking at home more and mom just do much of the cleaning and dish washing. She cooks only when it is Christmas or something. Usually, nowadays she prefer to order a table for the whole family at the restaurant because she told us she is always too tired to do too much work. We can understand her on that.

      4. It is a lot of work. I used to have friends come to my house and we all cooked together. Most of them moved away. So different now. I can eat what I want. Sometimes I just eat dessert for dinner. Lol

      5. When my kids were small, it seems easier for me because I need not to cook too much. I made simple kiddie food for them and they are satisfied with it. For as long it is yummy.

But later, when they grow up older and gone to school, that is when the passion and work for cooking is more than usual. Then come the birthday parties, Easter, Halloween and Christmas … Kind of exhausting, actually. And loads and loads of work before and after!

Thank goodness that my kids love to help with the dishes and clean up the place every time after dinner. It is also the time for lots of funny conversation in between doing the work. That way it is even faster to finish everything and then we go to the couch and rest.

And on the weekend, I rarely cook. We just go out dine somewhere we like. Sometimes I like it when the others cook for me, instead. (◕ᴥ◕)
