My knockout roses have bloomed

My knockout roses have bloomed. I walked outside to see if my roses have bloomed and what a lovely surprise. I can’t stop getting up and walking outside to smell them. My entire yard smells the sweetest. Yay me!

I wanted you to see how big they are this year. They completely cover the front. I love them so much. I can sit for hours just looking at them. ❤ Yay for me!

      1. Think of all the crazy friends we’ve known some major believe and some unbelievable. We’ve sure learned a lot. Thank you for always being a sounding board of reason!😉😛💕

      2. You’re welcome. I am always there for you even when I am “not there” I am always on the other end of an email or tweet.

  1. WOW!!!! They are so beautiful. I’ll have to grab my bottle of rose oil and take a deep whiff to get the full picture and appreciate it completely. The roses in the sister building have been planted again, and hopefully will have some blooms this year, although I don’t know much about the life of rose gardening. My only experience was a rose salvaged from a bouquet being thrown out at church, planted in a small hole dug with a tablespoon, baptized with cheap perfume, and fertilized by good old country air and the faith of a 6 year old child. It thrived and had the sweetest smell I ever sniffed, probably only due to that faith of the child and simply because everyone else scoffed at the idea of my trying it.

    1. OH yes and these are right outside the room I’m healing in. I have this gigantic bed I bought for Alex maybe to entice her to stay home and I seem to be enjoying it greatly. I really like it I may make this my new tv room! Hugs to you! ❤

      1. I’m already back in bed. I don’t want to do something stupid and fall. I had on my slippers and I noticed they are too floppy and wouldn’t that be a sight to fall in the front yard. Oh geez! So I’m safely back with all my pillows! LOL

  2. Yay for you indeed…they are so beautiful. I didn’t realize roses blossomed as early as April. What a treat after the cold to see such lush colours and that sweet scent…lucky you!!

    1. Thank you. Yes I was shocked to see them too.
I’ve been in bed for 2 weeks with a broken L3 bone in my back so getting up wasn’t easy but I wanted to see them. My yard is quiet the rose attraction because they are so large and smell so sweet. My neighbor asked if he could make some home with him for his wife and I was happy to share them. ❤
