She’s on fire
yet it doesn’t burn
like she thought it would
She’s been here before
when the smoke clears
She’ll be standing tall
this kind of fire
burns…
the fake right out of you

She’s on fire
yet it doesn’t burn
like she thought it would
She’s been here before
when the smoke clears
She’ll be standing tall
this kind of fire
burns…
the fake right out of you

Here I am ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~There you are
The second seem to stretch out
in the breath I can’t catch
I seem always be
Starting over getting over you again
Alastair a.k.a “A” is one of my first friends here on WP. This morning I opened up my comments to see his encouraging words and sometimes a little poem he thinks up just to brighten my day. I’m thankful for his friendship and also he has a lot of photography hints as well. I really love this candle, it speaks of peace and well-being. Which I think we all need a little bit of. 🙂 Thank you A.
One of the problems with not being able to get out much is the lack of diversity in subjects for photography. There is only so much in the house that can be photographed. So this week, I thought I would go for a different angle and use a candle in a dark room.

Sometimes we can miss a friend so much that life doesn’t seem the same. I felt this way today about JM, my partner in Pink. She created this pink playground for us to share and then LIFE happened to us both and things dropped off but the love never goes away. It’s still strong as ever cheering each other on. Go Pinky! xoxo
I love Ms Vee and her wisdom. Truly she is full of encouragement and understanding, and a deep empathy. I love her. I think you will too. ❤
I spent sometime this weekend reading Richard’s book, Eternals. It’s not a secret he’s one of my favorite writer and one of my dearest friends. I haven’t been around much and wasn’t able to celebrate his debut so I wanted to share this like with you so you can check it out for yourself. Yay Hooray for Richard!!!
I don’t know what I would have done without Laurie’s words of encouragement over the last year and 1/2. She’s a continued well of gentle loving kindness. I think the world needs more people like this! I encourage you to visit and see for yourself. ❤
I dared to stop,
to be still in my heart
just long enough
for words to form
to comfort
all that was unsettled
in me.
And then I found
the comfort came
before the words
in my willingness to be
with all that is here —
in the presence of
my own soul.
