Northern Light @ Umeå -Inspiration from my cousin

My cousin Rune’ lives in Finland, this is where my family originated. He knows of my love for the Northern lights and has been sending these to me daily.
Inside my heart is this yearning I’m not sure what for, and I feel it when I see his photos. Love that my family is so inspiring of each other.

    1. Oh me too me too Erika. I love that my cousin sends these to me daily. I thought it was funny because he doesn’t speak much English but he figured out that I love the sky! I need to learn to speak Finnish one day! LOL He said that he looked up from working, he works outside and saw it and quickly got his cell phone. It’s hard to believe the sky is always so clear there in Finland. I have several friends that are photographers in Finland and they said the sky is so clear because they are closer to the North pole and less pollution. Let me know when you go and take lots of photos. Let’s hope one of us gets to see them sooner than later! 🙂 ~✿~ღ~✿~

  4. Those lights are incredible. It’s hard to believe they’re real. I didn’t realize you could see them from Finland. I’m moseying on over from Jacqueline’s Cooking Pots and Twisted Tales blog.

  8. Nostalgia! I also love the Northern Lights, and miss them. I spent 7.5 years in Northwestern Ontario, where we were blessed by some magnificent displays of the Northern Lights.

      2. OH yes I have to admit I don’t know much about it. We do have an art museum named after my family name so that’s about all I know. 😀 I love the photos of the sky from Finland they are so clear because they are closer north and also less pollution. 🙂
