Sometimes I draw

~ღ~

The first time I laid eyes on her, my Alexanderia, I was taken by the orange tint of her hair. It wasn’t blonde though some said it was strawberry, to me it looked like a copper halo. I’m almost certain it was. When she started talking her first word was “mall” her second was “oranch.” That’s the way she said it. As she got older, she always picked things that were orange…so now you know why my favorite color is orange too. There is happiness in the color orange and a rich deep love that overflows. ♥️
P.S. This is one of the flowers she got me for Mother’s Day I keep taking photos of them. I love them so much ♥️

It’s hard to say how long I watched them
She, he, they flew overhead
I thought at first he was leading
But as I watched he slowed
And she, catching his stream, took the lead
This dance of unison grace
I wept…
It’s hard to know how long I stood there

She planted iris
Beneath the old oak tree
Lightning struck it twice
It was really hard to believe
Barely any dirt left
Underneath the trunk they grew
Lovely little iris~grape scented
Hearty little flowers
Just like our family
Still blooming where
We’re planted
She planted iris
Thank you Mumsy for this precious memory of you! I love you! ❤ I didn’t want to wait till tomorrow because that’s what everyone else does. I think everyday should be Mother’s day! I love you!

It must have been
Moon glow
It must have been
stars above
that led me straight
to You
I believe you are here for a reason. Maybe it’s bigger than moon glow…I think so~

Then close your eyes tight,
be in your heart
Know that I am always
inside my heart, with you
