It’s not the storms I fear~sometimes it’s the living

that scares me most

Storm clouds rolling in
If truth be told
I’d have to say
I prefer a stormy cloudy day
Because the Oklahoma sun
Burns so hot you feel like toast
Most folks when they feel sprinkle
Run for cover but my eyes twinkle
I so love a soaking Summer rain
peaceful stillness
in the peaceful stillness
without the light
lightening brightens
up the sky
I wait because I know
even in the storms
you are here
in the peaceful stillness
Then came a gully washer
The sun was just shining and then I heard rain! Then came the storms! I love storms!
