A new mini we see

What a sweet little miniature horse. We spotted him instantly.
This has become mine and Alex’s favorite past time going
to see the minis….Hope you guys aren’t tired of seeing minis.

This mini is a little bigger than the little black one and a little
more brave.

She’s so sweet, she’s thinking we should get some minis
for the back yard. 😂

Look at this one it literally stood there waiting for me to come pet it. I should have brought baby carrots with me. I noticed this one is losing its winter coat. She’s fuzzy. 💕

Arkansas River floods Oklahoma

2019 Arkansas River flood has made the records books for the highest river levels ever. By Wednesday the River is expected to crest at 42′. The Army Corp of Engineers has been releasing at full capacity since the rains started. Flooding is rampant along the bordering river towns.

Below are some photos I took standing on Riverside walking trails in Tulsa, that are today gone due to errosion from the rushing waters.

I thought it would be better to get a closer look riding a scooter, so I did. I left after seeing the mighty Arkansas River overtake a playground area.

On my way home I stopped by the Verdigris River, which feeds into the Arkansas River, this river is by my home and I’m thankful I’m living on high ground.

The scariest part for me is that my mom and sister live in Arkansas in Van Buren. The city is surrounded by water. Fortunately they both live on higher ground like me. 🙏🏼💜

Midnight Butterfly

Dark is her sky sometimes
I watch her clatter around
In the castle with round walls
She makes not a sound
How I wish, oh I wish
For a little magic somewhere
Then flown through her window
A Midnight Butterfly 
so rare
The moon it was blue
It glistened the sky
Midnight Butterfly kissed her
Right on the eye
From that day on she saw
Nothing but gladness
Rainbows and sunshine
Midnight Butterflies 
are magical that way

Oh how I wish…I miss her sometimes, no…Always 🦋

Because Kindness Matters it just does. I will always choose kindness even when I feel offended, or someones words are hurtful.

Just because you can say something mean doesn’t mean you should.
Just because you can share an opinion that could be taken in the wrong way, don’t mean you ought to. 

Sometimes I grow weary reading thoughts that are unkind.
