I was going to sleep in today till I saw this. I have noticed with the time change I am missing the sunrises out my back door. Have a wonderful Sunday.
Something about dawn
There’s something about dawn that calms me
Starts my day out so right
Waiting in the icy cold for just a little light
I am thinking of my family, my friends
Are close behind
Sending wishes, love and prayers
I see a shiny star of light
I think it’s Venus

I saw diamonds today
We decided to the back yard so that Angel could go outside and wander safely now that she’s older (14 almost 15). She loves having a safe space to smell for bunnies. This morning I noticed what looked like sparkling diamond, on my fence…I’m drawn to shiny things.

Evidence of snow
It rarely snows here anymore
I find myself waiting like a child
For a snow day I don’t need
But my heart would so gladly take
I love the idea of chasing snowflakes
And watching them land
I love warm hot cocoa
And warming my hands
by the fire…

Sometimes me and Angel like to go outside just to watch it snow. She’s so cute all covered in snow!
I had this thought about snowflakes as I watched them fall in big groups…
I wonder if snowflakes have snowflakes friends and they all get together
to float and flutter down, just to make folks like me look up and remember
all the magical moments in life.
Dec. 22, 2018 Full Moon as I see it
As an artist and photographer I always feel to prove the fact that I can do real moon shots, but then I opened my back door and all I wanted to see was what I see.
Many things filled my heart and mind and most forefront was…Do those I love and miss most, know I miss them?…And I hope when they see this moon tonight and they think of me and my love for them. Then this ethereal moon and how it glares in my camera lens, almost made me stop but I simply couldn’t I needed to share what I saw. Why I do this, I do not know? I used to stress over getting the best moon shot and then I stopped because I do my best and that’s all I know to do. I hope this Christmas full moon finds you counting your blessings. ❤ I hope you think of me as you look upward and I send this prayer to your heart and that you know my love~<3
