Good morning sleepyhead
I heard you wrestling in your bed
I wondered did you even sleep a wink
I whispered you our good night song
I thought you even sang along
But I’ve noticed you seem to have lost your tune
So I wondered out on starry night
Sent you kisses oh so bright
Hoping they would grace your weary eyes
Very much to my surprise
The sun did crest with such delight

There are moments
Like this when…
I’m caught up in the magic
When the wildflower field
Looks like diamonds
I catch my breath and snap a photo
So you can see it too~ღ~
When the storms have passed
Though flood waters surround us still
We see things in a different light

Grace comes to you when you are ready

I always used to say I’m going here

I went outside and saw my wildflowers swaying and the birds were singing so I made a little video with my iPhone. Thought you might like to listen.
2019 Arkansas River flood has made the records books for the highest river levels ever. By Wednesday the River is expected to crest at 42′. The Army Corp of Engineers has been releasing at full capacity since the rains started. Flooding is rampant along the bordering river towns.
Below are some photos I took standing on Riverside walking trails in Tulsa, that are today gone due to errosion from the rushing waters.
I thought it would be better to get a closer look riding a scooter, so I did. I left after seeing the mighty Arkansas River overtake a playground area.
On my way home I stopped by the Verdigris River, which feeds into the Arkansas River, this river is by my home and I’m thankful I’m living on high ground.
The scariest part for me is that my mom and sister live in Arkansas in Van Buren. The city is surrounded by water. Fortunately they both live on higher ground like me. 🙏🏼💜

I have lived like a garden rose
It is the only life I know
I felt the touch of tending hands
I made my peace of which I stand
but…
I long to see her dancing
right in front of me.
I watched her last night swaying softly
and I heard the gentle breeze…
whisper something like little wildflower….
hum hum hummmmmmhummmm
And when…
the storm clouds moved away
and the sting of the barbed memories
began to fade
Her heart, it sang a new sweet sweet song!
