Butterfly or Moth who knows?

Butterfly or Moth?
You had me chasing you, wondering
Up close I have to see
This mystery and it’s plain to me
How you captivate my eyes
With you tiny little soul
Then you flutter fly
Off to places
I’ll never really know
You leave a smile on my face
And a sweet breeze that soothes my soul

Butterfly or Moth… who knows

  1. Such lovely critter. I was smiling while reading the comments because I’m like a kid too when I see beautiful things in nature… I start running after them with my camera. My hubby things I’m a little insane. Lol Nice poem Michelle. Cheers! -Dominique

      1. Lol!!!! I can relate. When I see something that is potentially artistic, I’ll just go take a picture. People have asked me what I was doing, I say I see something awesome lol!

      2. Haha–I’m laughing because my daughter says Mom it’s okay to eat your food without taking a photo of it. I do stop for photo shots no matter where I am too. LOL That’s funny 🙂 I’m laughing with you.

      4. Well I do that because I love it when food looks pretty, I’m all about the presentation. Haha. Sometimes my mom takes photos of her food and sends them to me. It’s so cute. Maybe it runs in the family haha 😀 lol

    1. Hi Tim. Oh I never thought of a Painted Lady. At first I thought it was a moth because of the head and legs looked all downy and soft. I really couldn’t get too close this one was quite active! 🙂 Plus I have gigantic bees close over my head. 🙂
