My day ends with this beautiful Waxing Gibbous Moon; it’s not quite 100% full.
I took some close up shots so you could see the craters to the left.
I can’t stop looking at them. This view is what I saw first;
the lavender sky caught my attention first, but I knew it wasn’t yet a full moon.
My day started with awesomely tender, remembering, and then this beautiful moon.
We keep holding our breath! Sweet friends, we can exhale. We are going to be okay!
It just looks different than we thought.
Beautiful post, MichelleMarie 🙂

Oh, yes good thinking. It will last for 7 days like this then be full but I think it will be sooner. I was talking to a friend of mine and they said they couldn’t see the moon. I think I have this awesome view. Plus I’m always looking at the sky! Have a great evening! 🙂

Beautiful. I just watched the moon rise over the mountains, up through and over the cottonwoods while talking to a friend who lives in Las Vegas, NV. Clouds are covering the moon now, but it was magical.

I thought so too Tim. I was watching it and noticed it wasn’t quite full but still I felt it was special somehow. I love that you saw the same! Wow! Happy Moon to you!

I asked my friend if he could see the moon, but it hadn’t risen where he was. He’s probably watching it now.

Oh, yes. Also, I think I’m close to the moon. I think it’s a longitude latitude thing. Maybe. I’m so happy you saw it too! Yay!

We see the moon almost every evening, night, or morning through its various phases. When the moon comes up really late at night or really early in the morning, it shines in our bedroom window and wakes us up so we can look at it. When we walk along the river after sunset, we watch the stars and planets come into view as night falls.
