Today I’m thankful for clouds

Today I’m thankful for clouds. They give up a respite from the hot summer heat. They provide us with cleansing rain drops. I love rain, I love Fall and Winter. Summer I’m breaking up with you!! 😊

  1. I love this photo, MM. Not a cloud in my sky today but my shoulder is forecasting more rain soon. Autumn is also my favorite season — the colors are going to be very intense this year because of all the rain we’ve had, but at least things are drying up now, enough so that one of my friends has been able to go to the ponds on the farm and fish to his hearts delight. It’s been hot here so I’ve been sorta confined to home for the duration, leaving early in the morning to go to the grocery and being home in the shortest time imaginable. Love you Pink Angel Friend. ❤ ❤ ❤

    1. Aww I love you too! I’m so happy to know that you are getting out! I know what you mean about the heat! I’m so tired of it! I look forward to Autumn like you do! Thank you for the sweet mention in your post! I love that we inspire each other! Much love to you sweet Angel friend! ❤ xoxo

      1. It really is wonderful when I find someone like you to be my inspiration. At least we should be seeing some cooler days by October, and if really lucky maybe by mid September. I’m ready for sweater weather, but not for winter. We get ice rather than snow so I’m pretty much isolated until it all thaws. Kentucky doesn’t have much in the way of ice and snow removal equipment.
        Love you. ❤

      1. I haven’t been to Melbourne in years!
We live in country South Australia, although I grew up in Adelaide. My hubby is American so we lived in Colorado for ten years, which was wonderful! We have been here now for 13 years and I can’t believe how fast the time has gone!

      1. Fall is especially awesome because it’s like the atmosphere is so clear… you can see every star in the sky on a fall night!

        She’s clean and classy 😁

  2. The photo is very amazing. Leaving summer and going into the monsoon and the fall season gives us a lot of relief. Your language to describe this was also very good.

    1. Thank you, Tim. I used to like Summer when I had a swimming pool and I swam till October. 🙂 Now I sit around and think about the new A/C I need to buy. I worry about it making it till next Summer. It’s been brutally hot here! 😛

      1. I had to get a new swamp cooler this year. Temperatures have been normal, actually not as many days well above 100 this year, but high 90’s most days. It’s been more humid the past month, so the swamper hasn’t been able to cool as well as when it’s dry. Although, it’s starting to cool down more at night.
